I’m Phil Lockwood and I’m going to read my brand new children’s picture book called My Family Is My Home. This book is perfect for younger children who may be dealing with various emotions relating to constant moving or traveling, whether that’s due to having parents who, like us, choose to explore the world voluntarily, or for frequent job changes, military service, or any other scenario that prevents a consistent, stationary lifestyle. I personally believe that stressing a “family first” focus with children can help ease the burdens of constant moving and I wrote this story accordingly.

I have always found it best and most satisfying on a trip to do as this family does, Uber is mandatory, the old "hey, can you take me to the airport?" No way Jose! Also, yes book your flights carefully with layovers and transfer times in mind. You don't want to spend the night in the airport with children. And flying business/first is WAY WAY WAY worth it and not much more if you shop carefully. You get free check bags, meals on board, first to board and you board, and the comfort is incomparable.
